The WORST Foundation I Have Ever Used! 

Ok guys, It's rare for me to buy the wrong product and hate it so much that I would swear that I will NOT buy it ever again! I normally do my research and get samples to try it out before I buy it! Especially with high end products, I expect I get what I pay for. 

But this time I bought the WORST foundation I've ever used in my entire life! 

Well, you all know that my skin is very problematic, it's oily, acne prone, large pores, black heads, acne scars, dry on the cheeks and super oily at T-zone.

After going to a skin specialist and getting some treatments from them, the guy there told me that I shouldn't be using my Chanel foundations since my skin is so acne prone, as it will clog my pores and give me more break outs. He suggested that a Mineral foundation would be a lot better for me, won't clog pores and better for the skin, you know the usual rant about it blah blah blah..... so he suggested that Youngblood is a good brand for problem skin, its especially made for sensitive skin. 

And there I go, went to the store and got a liquid foundation and a power foundation for myself! 

Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation and Youngblood Mineral Powder Foundation

 First the price is NOT CHEAP! It's nearly as much as my Chanel foundations price, but the performance of this foundation is far off the Chanel's. 

as you can see I've used more than half of the foundation, so now let me tell you how bad they are!

Youngblood Mineral Powder Foundation

 This powder foundation is finer than all the other mineral foundations that I've ever used. so I thought this will be good to hide my large pores, and fine lines. well it did hide all of these for about 1 hour and after that it will start to slide off your face, and melt down like an ice cream in the summer heat! then it will just crinkle all over your face and bring out all your imperfections!  on top of that it's so transferable! it will get all over your clothes, phone, bag, scarf, your boyfriend's clothes! I'm not even exaggerating. The coverage is medium to full, which is what I usually look for in a foundation. But the problem is - this will make you look like you've dunked your face in foundation, and your face will literally look like a birthday cake! 

  

Also when you wear this foundation please stay away from water!!! so DO NOT wear this on a rainy/snowy/hot sweaty day, or to a wedding/funeral, or any place/event that would make you emotionally unstable! Because 1 drop of water/tear/sweat your make up will be ruined! 

Trust me I've tested this with makeup setting power/spray, makeup primer, different liquid foundation as a base, even different moisturizer. and guess what? NOTHING worked! 

so to my conclusion, if you are oily, live in a hot sweaty or rainy snowy climate do not use it! if you are going to an event that you think you might shed a few tears, do not use it! 

   

Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation

If you ask me what's worse than the Youngblood Mineral Powder Foundation? I would say the Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation! Sure it has all the good natural healthy ingredient in it, but i'd rather wear something with chemical in it than having this on my face and make my face look so uneven and shiny! This thing is so hard to blend! It's not dry, it's actually really hydrating. but the foundation won't sink into your skin, instead it will just sit on top of your skin, make you feel so greasy and uncomfortable. you can feel there's a layer of something sitting on your face, feel like as if you are wearing a mask. 

I've tried so many different ways to blend this! with my fingers, with dry/wet sponges, with flat/round foundation brushes, with dry/wet beauty blender, with a buffing brush, a stippling brush!  you name it and I've tried it!  at the end nothing works, it will still just sit on top of your skin being sticky and gross! 

The lasting power is same as the powder, still very transferable, won't stay on your face.  

overall I HATE HATE HATE this line! will never ever repurchase this! 

This might work for you girls with dry/sensitive skin!  but for us combination/oily skin girls are just a big NO NO!
